My name is Richard Gomez. I was born and raised in Key West and have been fishing and diving its waters since childhood. I have been making my living on the ocean for the past 28 years, eight years as a commercial fisherman and 20 years in the charter boat industry.
   Through the years I have learned from some of the best fisherman in Key West and continue to learn new things everyday.
     I consider myself a jack of all trades in the ocean. Whether fishing the deep blue waters of the Gulfstream, the shallow patches of the coral reef with it’s numerous wrecks, or the backwater channels along the flats, I feel confident in my ability to find fish. 
     I have fished with people from all over the world and they all say the same thing “Man, what a great way to make a living.”. I never disagree.  I love meeting people and making people happy.  I love the challenge and the thrill of the unknown. But most of all, I love my office. It is blue and boundless, has no walls, and everyday it changes.
